The Little Blue River Watershed has many public parks, lakes, and trails that provide great opportunities for outdoor recreation.

PARKS and LAKES

Fleming Park:  2-miles East of I-470/291 on Woods Chapel Road

Blue Springs Lake

Longview Lake Park:  1-mile south of I-470 and Raytown Rd (exit 4)

TRAILS

Little Blue Trace Park and Trail:  A ten-mile hiking and bicycle trail makes up this 1,856 acre park.  The trail borders the Little Blue River from Longview Lake north to Blue Mills Road.  Other recreation facilities, along this trail system, include 4 shelters, 30 picnic tables, softball field and 3 soccer fields.
